Veteran Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborty was hospitalized in Kolkata following complaints of weakness in his right upper and lower limbs.
He was diagnosed with an Ischemic Cerebrovascular Accident, commonly known as a stroke, at the Apollo Multispeciality Hospitals in Kolkata.
Despite the severity of the condition, the hospital has confirmed that Chakraborty is now fully conscious, well-oriented, and has been able to consume a soft diet.
He is currently under the care of a comprehensive team of specialists, including a neuro-physician, cardiologist, and gastroenterologist.
