Key Asian stocks ended mixed today. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index gained 1.21 per cent, China’s Shanghai Composite jumped by 0.82 per cent and Singapore’s Straits Times Index rose 0.04 per cent.   South Korea’s Kospi slipped 1.20 per cent and Japan’s Nikkei-225 declined 0.34 per cent.   Major European markets were trading mixed today.
